Ricki is a pretty black sable girl with a cute little face. Ricki got off to a rocky start at one point when she was adopted over 3 years ago at the N. Idaho Ferret Shelter. She was out playing and noticed her new owner (of about 2 weeks) sleeping on the floor. Ricki has a hard time seeing in her left eye, and being a young girl, noticed her owner's eye, probably in REM sleep, moving. Well, Ricki, being a playful girl tried to catch that thing moving on her owner and bit his eyelid. Ricki was returned to the shelter and stayed there classified as a "biter" for about 3 years until she arrived here. Ricki does get nervous sometimes and can bite if she is afraid. She isn't a _bad_ ferret though and you can play with her and pick her up without any nipping. With a little more handling and interaction, she will learn to trust you more. I would recommend putting her in her cage while you sleep though. :)
