Hemi is a very large roan mutt boy who was a former breeder ferret. He came to us from the Ohio rescue, for more information about the rescue check out our blog www.emmettferret.org/blog. Hemi was the oldest ferret that came out west from this rescue. He is around 2 years old and he is a former breeder male. In his unfixed state he was quite the ladies man. Hemi is deaf and he can be nippy at time when he gets himself all jumpy and excited. We'd prefer if he went to a home with older children who are content to play with him and not carry him around. Hemi is a sweet boy and loves attention. He likes to play with other ferrets and loves to sneak up on them and jump on or over them. He is a ferret that can test new people. I suppose a life in a small box in the cold would make you not trust every one you meet. He has been neutered and is a big muscular guy. His unique look with his goofy ears is just awesome. Hemi's adoption fee is $75 even if paired due to the added costs incurred from the Ohio trip.
