Big P is a large black sable point with a very cute black nose. He is one of the Ohio rescue ferrets. Big P (formerly Pirahna) as the name implies, is a very big boy. He was not handled much in the past, but with work from QCFR they have gotten him to trust more and not to bite when nervous. Often time abused or neglected ferrets don't know how to act and their first response to human touch is to latch out and bite. Although he is no longer bitey, he is still very, very reserved and nervous. His future home will need to be willing to work with him with his emotional issues. A home with no small or loud children, non-confrontational animals, and past ferret experience is a must. Big P is a nice boy but is difficult to retreive from lay time because he is still concerned about being picked up. I've taken to calling him Paulie, but you are welcome to figure out a name that works for you. Big P does like other ferrets and seems to play with others.
